Motion-Capture & VR Performance
Eternal Shadow is a motion-capture performance that explores the profound beauty and wrath of nature, highlighting the intricate moral complexity involved in preserving life on Earth. It portrays the duality of Mother Nature through two personas: The Nurturer, embodying growth, harmony, and renewal, and The Protector, representing destruction, resilience, and defense. This duality symbolizes the challenging truth that genuine love for the environment sometimes requires extreme actions to restore and maintain balance. By exploring these opposing forces, the project reflects the tension between creation and preservation, urging viewers to consider the cost of protecting the natural world and their own role in fostering harmony.
This project was made under the guidance of professor Sara Niroobakhsh and in collaboration with Liza Datsenko, Ayazhan Gabitkyzy, Zhaniya Korpebayeva
